The project I am working on has simliarities with the facade of the Zollverein School of Management and Design built by SANAA. In the elevation of the facade, some areas are less dense than others. After watching the tutorial “random opening using rectangle packing” I noticed that there is no option to further define “Gap between rectangles” to create areas where gaps are smaller or bigger, using magnet controller for example.
Do you think it would be possible to add a field there to add more controllers, such as the magnet controller?

      Hi there,
The gap should be consistent in order for packing algorithm to work. the workaround is to push the boxes outside the plane so they don’t cut the wall.
