Mathsurf is a single geometry scripted plug-in, and you can use it immediately after installation by choosing Mathematics category from create panel. Press Mathsurf button and use your cursor to place the mesh in the scene .After a single click a plane has been created. You can edit Mathsurf properties and parameters from the modify panel.
